Taxes are like vegetables. Most people don’t really care for them, but there’s no getting around them. Luckily for Legion Logistics, we found Crystal Faulkner at MCM CPAs and Advisors to help us deal with this sometimes unpleasant part of owning a business. When asked to provide information about their firm for our partner spotlight page, they reminded us again why we enjoy working with them so much. They provided the following quote and information about their firm:
“Tony and Lacy were looking for a partner to provide tax planning and consulting work for their business and for the past five years we’ve had the privilege of serving them in this capacity and continue to be impressed by their innovation and growth. Collaborating with the leadership team at Legion Logistics is always gratifying. We are able to offer client-focused solutions that resolve problems, save money, minimize taxes and achieve their personal and professional goals because of their willingness to embrace the changes and challenges necessary to take their business to the next level.”−Thomas M. Legion Logistics has been doing business with Mark Kiser at the Kwik Kopy Business Center for two years. Mark has supplied the Legion with numerous products, including business cards, office stationery, invitations, and other printed materials. Kwik Kopy, located in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, has been helping customers in Northern Kentucky with their graphic design and copying and printing needs since 2003. In 2011, the company purchased All Signs of Northern Kentucky, which added the ability to provide their customers with banners and signs of all shapes and sizes. The two companies are conveniently located side-by-side.
Kwik Kopy of Northern Kentucky has been recognized for its growth and excellent customer service both by the franchise itself and the community. It was awarded the Small Business Success Award and the Emerging 30 Award by the Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and 2011, respectively. It has also been nominated for the Emerging 30 Award again for 2012-2013. The company was also the proud recipient of a Community Choice Award in 2011 and a Readers’ Choice Award in 2010 for service and dependability.
When they are not working hard to satisfy their customers, Kwik Kopy employees are busy serving the community through the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Independence Business Association and BNI, as well as numerous charitable organizations, to which they have donated numerous hours of design and production.
We appreciate everything Mark and the Kwik Kopy team have done for us, and we are happy to recommend them for all of your printing needs. You can reach them at (859) 431-8811, and you can check out all of their services on their website.
Despite the multiple other ways we have to communicate – email, instant messaging, social media – we still use the telephone the most. And when your business is based on cold-calling, customer service, and follow-up, your phones really need to work.
In the spring of 2013, we were unhappy with our phone service provider. Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC) was recommended to us and we started working with Nick Enger. Not only was ATC able to provide better support, they also provided on-site training, uncovered a billing issue and assisted in securing a credit for the erroneous billing.
In business for 14 years, ATC’s focus has been to help medium to large businesses grow and become more productive by removing the complexities of network services from in-house resources and allowing them to focus on their business. This Mason, Ohio company also gives back to the community through many organizations, including Dress for Success, Fraternal Order of Police, Wounded Warrior Project and the Dragonfly Foundation. Nick Enger sits on the Board of Trustees for the Technology Channel Association, the first ever non-profit trade organization focused on the independent channel.
ATC’s expertise and commitment to their customers has resulted in numerous awards, such as the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for marketplace Ethics Winner, Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Small Business of the Year Award, Cincy Magazine’s Tri-State’s Success Award Winner, and the Business Courier’s Fast 55 Award.
If you are having trouble connecting with your customers, Legion Logistics recommends you give Nick Enger a call at (513) 323-1127 or visit ATC’s website to review the services they offer.
Elliott Stapleton started working with Lacy Starling on estate planning in 2008, before Legion Logistics was even launched. As the company became a reality in 2009, Elliott handled the legal end of things, and continues to do so today. He is a partner at Cornetet, Meyer, Rush & Stapleton (CMRS) in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been practicing law for seven years.
When he’s not helping clients through legal services, Elliott stays connected to his hometown of Cincinnati and volunteers with various community service groups. In 2012, he honed his leadership skills as a member of C-Change, a year-long program offered by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. He is also a board member for Cancer Family Care Young Professionals and Gamma Xi 21, Inc., and volunteers for Pro Seniors and the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project.
As much as we hate the thought of sharing Elliott with others, we know we can’t be selfish. So if you are looking for someone to handle your legal needs, we recommend that you call Elliott Stapleton at (513) 771-2444, or visit CMRS’s website.
